Bassets, Bassets, and More Bassets

I have been asked to photograph the 50th Anniversary PBH Basset Hound Specialty Dog sShow in April. Since I have never photographed dog shows before, I went to Melinda's (of Saranade Bassets) house the other morning so she could tell me the ins and outs of what a "show stacked" Basset looks like. Fortunately, horse terms and dog terms are similar and after 20 years of horse showing, I knew more than I thought I would. Melinda has the sweetest dogs (my parents got Frank from her) and it was so fun hanging out with them! Looking forward to this new photography venture!
